Anti-Frizz-Tips for Curly Hair (II)
We already gave you some Anti-Frizz-Tips for Curly Hair earlier. As this is an extensive topic, we continue with the second part sharing more tips about how to control frizziness.
Wear a bun
Apply some serum from the middle part of your hair toward the ends, and when your hair is almost dry, take your mane and make it into a bun. Use a clamp or fork to hold it in order to avoid marks and release your hair just before leaving the house. Apart from achieving natural waves you will also eliminate frizziness since you dried your hair when it was stretched.
If your hair is very curly, the last thing you want to do is comb your hair. By stretching it, and even working against its nature, you will provoke an unfavourable frizz-effect. Instead of doing that, use a comb with wide teeth to distribute the products you applied (conditioner, mask, finishing treatment) and give it the form you desire. A spray-conditioner especially for curly hair like BC Curl Bounce acondrevspray by Schwarzkopf will surely make it easier to comb your hair and take care of your curls.
Wash with moderation
Washing your hair too often may eliminate natural oils your hair needs in order to shine forth a healthy look causing frizziness. Wash your hair only when necessary and with shampoos for curly hair as could be BC Curl Bounce by Schwarzkopf, Kérastase Nutrive Oleo-Curl, L’Oréal Expert Professionnel Curl Contour Hydracell or Tigi Catwalk Curlesque, range of products we mentioned earlier.
Condition your curls
Also use the right conditioners and masks according to your type of hair and your needs. Brands like Alterna, Redken o American Crew offer many anti-frizz products to nourish, hydrate and control curly hair.
To finalize your look choose a serum or leave-in product which controls frizziness and defines your curls.
