Summer’s Beauty Basics
With summer’s arrival the way we take care of our beauty changes, and so should our cosmetics we use.
Hera are some of those we consider BASIC BEAUTY PRODUCTS FOR SUMMER:
Facial Cleansing: Oil-Free Products
Having normal or combination skin, in summer humidity and high temperatures cause your face to perspire more than usual: sweat, glister,… In order to leave a brilliant, healthy impression a thorough facial cleansing is very important. We highly recommend applying oil-free cosmetics to avoid excess of oil.
Moisturizers With SPF Or Sun Block
As we have already recommended in an earlier post, there are many moisturizing creams with SPF that avoid sunburn and the appearance of skin spots. Wherever you go this summer, do not go without.
Particularly in summer, we show more body. For this reason we need to take care of it more than ever. A good-looking skin is a renewed skin. First, use a body scrub to eliminate dead skin, and then apply a moisturizer to nurture your skin and give it a healthy look. Do not forget your breasts and neck.
Our lips not only suffer in winter. With sun and heat they dehydrate and dry up just the same. Therefore it is essential to have a good lip balm at hand to protect your lips. Handbag or purse at day or night, beach bag or backpack – always take it with you.
Sun Protection For Your Hair
If we protect our skin from the sun using body sunscreen, why do we not also protect our hair from damage caused by UVA/UVB rays? Sun protecting hair products are available, with filters that preserve its softness and colour before and after being exposed to the sun.
A Fresh Perfume
We cannot miss a summertime scent in our summer basics. If you change the fragrance at this time of season, choose fresh and energizing perfumes (like Light Blue by D&G) or soft and flowery fragrances (like L’Eau d’Issey Florale). But most of all choose a fragrance that makes you feel good, that “smells like summer” to you. This way you will always take these good olfactory vibrations with you.
These are our summer basics in cosmetics and beauty products. Which are yours? Tell us!
